Nestled among meadows and forests, Riposo al Bosco lies in the heart of the Dolomites, in the charming mountain village of San Vigilio di Marebbe, at 1,200 meters above sea level. A place to slow down, breathe deeply and reconnect with nature – while remaining the perfect starting point for outdoor experiences in every season.
Founded in the 1950s by the Complojer family, the hotel has been shaped over generations by a strong bond with the region and its alpine culture.
From December 2025, Riposo al Bosco opens a new chapter.
After a comprehensive redesign, the hotel reopens with a renewed concept that brings together alpine tradition, natural simplicity and contemporary comfort – thoughtfully, authentically and in harmony with its surroundings.
For guests travelling sustainably, an electric vehicle charging station is available directly at the hotel.

Ladin cuisine for gourmets: Our kitchen serves both traditional Ladin dishes and international cuisine – prepared by our junior chef himself. Every week, we invite our guests to a “Cena Ladina,” a Ladin dinner by candlelight. In summer, weather permitting, we also host aperitif and barbecue evenings with live music. We offer our guests half board and, in the summer months, hot meals at lunchtime. We also spoil our guests with an extensive breakfast buffet and, of course, our typical traditional and international dinners.
