Kronplatz, more than just a mountain.

Mountain summer in South Tyrol: The holiday region Kronplatz extends over the whole west of the Val Pusteria, deep into the Ahrntal valley, the valleys of Antholz and Gsies and – of course – also the Val Badia. Our hotel in San Vigilio di Marebbe is situated at the foot of this extensive area which is known as one of the most modern skiing areas in the world. All year long, guests can explore the region since it welcomes both hikers, mountain climbers and cyclists as well as those who love winter sports. You will find all sorts of paths, tours and trails ranging from easy trips feasible for those with baby buggies, to challenging tours up to giddy heights for mountain experts. With its many well signposted hiking and biking routes, the Kronplatz is the ideal holiday destination for mountain bikers and hikers alike. The Mount Kronplatz is at the heart of the area with a height of 2,275 m. As of recently, tourists can visit the Messner Mountain Museum Corones at its summit.
