Mesmerizing Dolomites: Among mountain enthusiasts, South Tyrol has been known as a paradise for all kinds of mountain experiences for a long time. How could it be any different? Around San Vigilio alone, over 300 km of hiking trails extend all throughout the mountain landscapes. Year after year, over 200 km of bike trails attract cyclists and mountain bikers alike. Directly at our doorstep, you can tread into the Fanes-Sennes-Prags Nature Park and discover this wondrous alpine region. But the Dolomites are not only just for hikers, mountain climbers and cyclists: climbing routes, e-bike rentals, racing bike tours and zip line adventures guarantee that each guest gets their money’s worth. The nature park house of Fanes-Sennes-Prags serves as an information center and offers interactive media, videos and interpretive signs. Visitors can find out more about the origins of the Dolomites, the cave bear of Conturines, the region’s geomorphology or the alpine pasture agriculture. And all those who’d like to spend the day with us are welcome in our spacious garden!

Hiking

It’s not for nothing that South Tyrol is considered a hiking paradise: many well signposted hiking trails, forest roads and mountain paths go past unique landscapes, breathtaking mountain lakes and calm forests and meadows. In the Fanes-Sennes-Prags Nature Park, there are also two of the most beautiful lakes of South Tyrol – the mountain lake Pragser Wildsee and lake Toblacher See.

Cycling

Diverse cycling tours of all lengths and levels of difficulty offer best conditions for both beginners and experts. Apart from that, a lap of the “Transalp Challenge”, one of the most known mountain bike races, takes places here.

Zip line

Europe’s longest zip line is situated here in San Vigilio. With an overall length of 3,200 m and a height of 100 m, this zip line is not for the faint-hearted! It can even reach a maximum speed of about 80 km/h. An expert guide accompanies the tour and ensures that everybody can enjoy the impressive mountain panorama and exciting thrill from station to station absolutely worry-free.
